Sacramental Preparation

Regular attendance and active participation in class beginning in the first grade and continuing through the years are a prerequisite.

First Penance

Immediate preparation for the Sacrament of First Penance takes place in the second year of a child's instruction. Special arrangements are made for children who are in the third grade or above. Kindergarten is not required and therefore is not part of the Sacrament preparation.

Eucharist

Preparation for Eucharist is held in the second year of Faith Formation.

Confirmation

The preparation for Confirmation takes place over two years. Weekly classes are held in the seventh and eighth grade years on Sunday mornings and Monday evenings. In the eighth year, Confirmandi will prepare by becoming more involved in ministry, attending a retreat and participating in Mass. The eighth year is reserved for candidates from both OLMC Regional School and the Religious Education Program.

Special programs of preparation can be arranged for older children or adults who desire to receive the Sacrament of Baptism, Eucharist, or Confirmation.

Marriage

Marriage arrangements must be made one year in advance. This allows the priests/deacons, along with the Pre-Cana team to do proper preparation. Weddings take place on Saturdays at 1:30pm and Fridays at 4:00pm, 5:00pm, or 6:00pm. The wedding fee is $300. Please contact Fr. Jim at or Fr. Jose at .
